Hundreds of you joined us from across the world for the live unveiling of Nextdata OS — the first operating platform purpose-built for autonomous data products. Your presence, questions, and energy made this launch an unforgettable milestone, and I’m incredibly grateful.

This launch was more than a product demo. It was a moment years in the making — a moment born from a deep frustration with the brittle, centralized, fragmented state of enterprise data management. And it was fueled by a bold belief: that we can finally stop replatforming and start building systems that embrace the inherent complexity of data — safely, scalably, and with joy.

🔹 What we shared:
We walked through what it means to encapsulate code, data, policies, semantics, and control into a single autonomous data product — one that is discoverable, observable, and governable by design.
We showed how these products live across stacks and clouds, orchestrate themselves, enforce contracts, and expose health in real time — for both humans and AI agents.
We demonstrated how this radically simplifies data management, empowers domain teams, and turns tangled legacy code into trusted, live products in minutes — not months.

🔹 What our users shared
We also heard from two users of Nextdata OS. Amruta Joshi, Sr. Director of Data Foundations for Mars Pet Nutrition, told us how the Nextdata OS provides an integrated, simplified experience for uses bringing everything together instead of “looking at cataloging separately, looking at governance separately, looking at lineage separately.” Edward Kiruluta, of Bristol-Myers Squibb told us about the need to automate governance at scale to enable the agile collaboration and sharing that drug discovery requires, while ensuring continuous compliance with intricate data access and usage policies.
